This page explains what data SpyurqNet collects, why, and what choices you have. We try to keep it short and in plain language.
What we collect
- Account data — if you sign up, we store your email address, an optional display name, and your chosen language preference.
- Saved articles — articles you bookmark are linked to your account so you can find them again.
- Submissions — if you submit articles or events on behalf of an organisation, those records are linked to your account.
- Basic analytics — anonymous page views and aggregate usage to help us improve the site. We do not sell or share this data.
How we use it
Account data is used only to operate SpyurqNet — letting you sign in, save articles, and submit content. We do not send marketing emails unless you explicitly subscribe to our newsletter.
Third parties
SpyurqNet runs on managed cloud infrastructure that provides our database, authentication, and file storage. Sign-in via Google passes your email address to Google for authentication only.
Cookies
We use a small number of cookies and local storage entries strictly to keep you signed in, remember your language, and remember your saved articles on this device. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
Your rights
You can request a copy of your data, correct it, or delete your account at any time by emailing our contact form. Account deletion removes your profile, saves, and submissions from active systems within 30 days.
